2016 WDW Enchanted 10K

I survived my second runDisney race!
Not too shabby for a legally blind guy with
Stargardt Disease. My best friend Kurt was
a huge help during the race.

The 2016 Enchanted 10K was a lot of fun.
We were in the minority. 8500 women. 2500 men.
You’ve got to love Disney. People really get into these
events.

I finished with my slowest pace and time for a 10K.
It was very crowded for such a short course.
It gave me more time, though, to play with the GoPro (Hero 4
Silver..) Unfortunately, I had the settings all wrong. Damn these eyes. Note to self: don’t use 1440 and 48 fps ever again! It
took 6 weeks (and a lot of help) to color, WB, brightness, contrast and size correct this video and I still don’t think it’s right.
Oh well. The Feiyu Tech G4 Steady Gimbal for GoPro
still rocks. I got a lot of good stuff and I was able
to goof off a bit with a little Disney lip syncing.
My apologies to anyone who is blocked (sorry Germany) because
of my choice of “Love is An Open Door” from Frozen. If
anyone is interest and wants a copyright clean version, just
drop me a note.

I’m psyched and ready for the next race!

今年のGWにフロリダのウォルトディズニーワールドに旅行に[地域、旅行、お出かけ|海外]今年のGWにフロリダのウォルトディズニーワールドに旅行に行くのですが、ディズニー以外のところに行こうと思っています。交通手段はタクシーや公共交通機関を利用するつもりなのですがディズニーの周辺で人気の観光地やオススメのショップ、飲食店できるだけたくさん教えていただきたいです。フロリダに行ったらいくべきだという所を教えてください！はじめての海外でまったくわからないので(高校生です（ｉ _ ｉ）) お店など以外にもチップのことや注意すべきことなど旅行に関すること、知っておけばお得なことなども教えていただければ嬉しいです。よろしくお願いします。高校生ですか。お友達と行かれる？って事でしょうか？アメリカは高校生だけで出歩くとかあまりナイので、夜遅くまでパークにいてもその後真っ直ぐホテルに戻って下さいね。パークじゃない場所を出歩くのはできるだけ明るい時間だけにするようにした方が安全だと思います。それでも、7時過ぎ(8時近く？）までは明るいですいから。ディズニーのパークはもちろん、ディズニースプリングスと呼ばれるショッピング＆レストランエリアがあります。（TDLで言うイクスピアリみたいな場所）そこでも、丸1日楽しめるくらいのディズニー関連のお店がたくさんあります。ギラデリ（Ghirardelli）は日本でも買える様になったチョコですが、そのお店のカフェもあります。スタバとはまた違う感じなので是非。ディズニー自体が広い土地に作られているで、周辺となると車で30分くらい離れる事になるのですが、オーランドのアウトレットモールがあります。（2箇所）ディズニー以外のテーマパーク（ユニバーサルスタジオ、シーワールド）も楽しいですし、4月末なら、ウォーターパークも楽しめますね。インターナショナルドライブと言う通りがあって、アウトレットモールが南と北にあって、その間に色々とあります。オーランドにも大観覧車がありますよ。山のないフロリダなので日本とはまた違った景色が楽しめると思います。 4月末ともなると気温もかなりありますし、日差しもキツイですから、WDWを歩きまわるのであれば、日焼け止めはお忘れなく。そしてその分、室内は設定温度が低いのがフロリダなので、レストランで食事される時には、羽織るもの（薄手のカーディガン）とかあると便利だと思います。安全に気をつけて、楽しい旅行になりますように。
